Self-adhesive house numbers and adhesive numbers for bins are produced in high visibility styles for kerbside collections, with sizes such as 160mm. Metal house numbers and metal house signs are suited to doors, gates and walls where a more lasting finish is wanted. Smiths Architectural keep clear, fire action and symbol signs, and push and pull door signs, help with workplaces and communal areas.
Check the character height for the distance it must be read from, and pick a contrasting colour for the surface behind. For self-adhesive numbers, clean and dry the surface and press firmly, as adhesive works best on smooth, non-porous finishes. Allow for the position of fixings if choosing a screw-on sign.
