Spray Paint
Quick, even coverage for small and awkward jobs. This range of spray paint includes black spray paint, white spray paint, radiator and plastic paints, chalk paint, enamel and galvanising sprays, mainly from PlastiKote, with Rustoleum, SupaDec and Hammerite alongside.
Finish makes a big difference. A black gloss paint gives a shiny coat, matt black spray paint hides surface marks, and satin black spray paint sits between them. White gloss paint and satin white paint are popular for furniture and trim. Check the label for the surface it is made for, as plastic, metal, wood and radiators often need different formulas. PlastiKote spray paint covers many of these.
For good results, clean and dry the surface, sand glossy areas lightly and use a primer if the can calls for it. Shake the can well and spray in thin coats from about 20 to 30cm away. Work outdoors or in a well ventilated space, wear a mask and gloves, and cover nearby areas with paper. Keep cans away from heat and flames.

| Spray primer | Bare metal, plastic and repairs | Helps topcoat stick and dry evenly |
| High heat spray | Barbecues and stoves | Check the temperature rating; cure as instructed |
| Clear lacquer spray | Protecting a painted finish | Use a compatible brand and type |
