Bluecol

Bluecol is a familiar name for winter car protection, and this small range includes Bluecol antifreeze in a universal ready-mixed coolant, supplied in a 1L bottle, and a Bluecol premium ice scraper for clearing frosted glass.

Antifreeze and coolant protect a car's cooling system against freezing in winter and help control corrosion and overheating through the year. A ready-mixed coolant needs no dilution, so you can top up directly, which is useful for small adjustments between services. A universal formula is made to suit a range of vehicles, but always check your handbook or the label for compatibility with your engine before topping up.

Only add coolant to a cold engine, never open the cap on a hot system and keep the level between the minimum and maximum marks. If you are regularly adding coolant, have the system checked for leaks. Keep antifreeze securely capped and away from children and pets, as it is poisonous, and dispose of old coolant at a recycling centre. In cold weather, a scraper clears the windscreen safely, so keep one in the car.
