Evo-Stik

Evo-Stik makes adhesives and sealants for most home projects, and this range has over 70 products. It includes Evo Stik tile adhesive, Evo Stik wall tile adhesive in waterproof and mould resistant types, Evo Stik wood adhesive such as Resin W, silicone sealant, shower sealant, linseed oil putty, mitre adhesive and Seriously Strong Stuff.

For wall tiling, a waterproof wall tile adhesive in 2.5L suits bathrooms and splashbacks, while mould resistant wall tile grout gives a clean finish. Evo-Stik Resin W is an interior wood adhesive for furniture repairs and joinery, and mitre adhesive is formulated for bonding trim and corners. Trowel mastic works as a bed for heavier panels and some boards. For sealing around baths and sinks, use a sanitary silicone, such as the 1 Hour Shower Sealant in clear or White for Life silicone.

Read the pack to check the surface it bonds, working time and when you can grout or use a shower. Clean and dry both surfaces, apply as directed and clamp or support the joint while it sets. Ventilate the room and keep adhesives away from children. Use a tile spacer to keep tile joints even, and wipe away excess adhesive before it dries.
