Sandtex

For exterior walls that need to stay smart through the seasons, Sandtex is one of the best-known names, and the full range is gathered here. Choose Sandtex masonry paint, Sandtex smooth masonry paint, Sandtex exterior paint and the 10 Year multi surface finishes for woodwork and metal.

Sandtex paint comes in white, including Sandtex white masonry paint and pure brilliant white in 7.5L tins, as well as Sandtex grey masonry paint, light greys and colours such as Morning Sky. Sandtex masonry paint 10l tins suit whole house fronts, while 5L and 750ml sizes cover smaller jobs. Sandtex exterior masonry paint is complemented by satin and gloss options.

Prepare the wall by brushing off loose material, treating algae with a fungicidal wash and repairing cracks. Apply in dry weather with a masonry brush or roller, and keep a wet edge to avoid lap marks. Check the tin for the substrate it suits, the drying time between coats and the coverage per litre.
