Which one do I need?
Pick the Hybrid when a single job takes in several materials, for example cutting through metal brackets and then plastic or PVC pipe. If you only ever cut one material, a dedicated disc such as the Abracs Phoenix metal or stone discs is the alternative. Whichever you choose, the disc must match a 115mm grinder with a 22.23mm spindle.
How to use
- Unplug the grinder and check the disc speed rating against the grinder.
- Fit the disc between the flanges and tighten the nut securely.
- Keep the guard on the grinder and put on eye protection and gloves; add a dust mask for stone.
- Clamp the work and let the disc reach full speed before cutting.
- Feed the disc in steadily without twisting it, and let it stop before setting the grinder down.
