This BG weatherproof 13 amp socket is a 1 gang unswitched model for outdoor and damp locations, rated IP55 when the cover is closed. The supplied mounting box has 20mm and 25mm knock-outs.

How to use
- Cut the power at the consumer unit before opening up the 1 gang socket.
- Choose a wall position for the 1 gang socket that suits where the cable comes from.
- Wire the 1 gang socket as the instructions describe, tightening each terminal firmly.
- Fix the 1 gang socket to the wall, restore the supply and test it.
- Check the seals of the 1 gang socket now and then for wear.
