Using a rooting powder for cuttings

Dipping the cut end of a stem before it goes into compost helps the cutting form new roots. A natural option suits growers who prefer to avoid a synthetic root hormone.

How to use

1. Take a healthy cutting and trim just below a leaf joint.
2. Dip the cut end into the powder and tap off the excess.
3. Insert into a pot of moist cutting compost.
4. Keep in a bright spot out of direct sun until rooted.
