This Draper Expert heavy duty hacksaw is a hand hacksaw for cutting metal, pipe and plastic, supplied ready to use with a 300mm bi-metal blade. The steel tube frame keeps the blade under tension, and the soft grip handle helps when you have a long run of cuts to get through.

Straight or angled cuts with one hacksaw tool
The frame has two sets of blade spigots. Fit the blade in the standard position for straight work, or move it to the second set to cut at 45 degrees, which helps when the frame would otherwise foul the workpiece.
How to use this hacksaw hand saw
- Clamp the work firmly in a vice so it cannot move.
- Check the blade teeth point away from the handle and tension the blade.
- Start the cut with light strokes, then use the full length of the blade.
- Apply pressure on the push stroke and ease off on the return.

Delivery (UK only)
