Stepping down from 22mm pipe fittings
Use a reducing pipe joint where a 22mm run feeds a smaller branch. One end takes 22mm and the other takes 15mm, so it links JG Speedfit 15mm pipe to the larger size.
How to use
- Isolate and drain down.
- Cut each pipe square.
- Clean and deburr the ends.
- Join each pipe fully home.
- Refill and check for leaks.
FAQs
Can speedfit 15mm couplers be used on heating?
These white reducers are suitable for central heating systems.
Is this a straight coupler 15mm both ends?
No. It reduces from 22mm to 15mm, unlike equal 15mm fittings.
