The Manrose back draught shutter fits in-line in 100mm (4 inch) ducting. Made of PVC, this backdraught shutter lets air out when the fan runs and closes when it stops, helping keep cold draughts from blowing back into the room.

Why add an in-line shutter?
Without one, wind can push cold air back through the fan when it is off. A 4 inch duct shutter fitted along the run helps stop that.
How to use
- Choose a spot in the duct run near the fan.
- Cut the duct and fit the shutter between the two ends.
- Make sure the flap opens in the direction of airflow.
- Seal both joints.
