High pressure ball valve or low pressure ball valve?
Mains-fed cisterns usually need the high pressure washer, while tank-fed supplies use the low pressure one. Having both in the pack covers either case.
Replacing a cistern valve washer
- Turn off the water to the cistern.
- Unscrew the ball valve cap.
- Remove the old ball valve diaphragm.
- Fit the correct new washer.
- Reassemble and test the fill.
