Specifications

Is a translucent bathroom sealant right for my tiles?

Translucent sealant is a good choice next to glass shower screens, stainless steel sinks, coloured tiles and splashbacks, where a white line would draw the eye. For joints around white baths and basins, a white sealant often gives a cleaner finish.

Because it resists everyday cleaning products, the bead can be wiped down along with the rest of the bathroom or kitchen.

How to use

1. Remove old sealant fully and clean away any mould spores.
2. Dry the joint thoroughly before you begin.
3. Fill a bath with water before sealing around it, so the joint is at its widest.
4. Run a continuous bead with a sealant gun and smooth it straight away.
5. Keep the joint dry until cured, as directed on the cartridge.
