When to use lime powder
Brassicas and many vegetables grow poorly in acid ground. Test your soil, and if it is acidic, liming helps neutralise acid soil before planting.
How to use
- Test the soil pH first.
- Spread at the rate on the bag, on a still day.
- Rake or dig it into the surface.
- Keep it away from acid-loving plants.
