Using a spear-point bit
Spear-point bits need low speed and no hammer action. Keep the tip cool on glass with a little water.
How to use
- Mark the hole and stick masking tape over it.
- Use a low speed with hammer action off.
- Start at a slight angle, then bring the bit upright.
- Keep pressure light and steady.
- Stop once through the tile.
