Choosing a raker tooth bow saw blade
Measure your frame or the old blade first. If your Bahco bow saw takes a 24 inch blade and you mostly cut fresh, sappy wood, a raker pattern is the one to fit.
How to replace the hand saw blade
- Open the tension lever and slacken the frame.
- Unhook the worn blade.
- Hook the new blade on, teeth pointing away from the frame.
- Close the lever so the blade is tight.
