When to fit new pump washers

Any time the pump comes off, whether for a swap or to free a seized rotor, fit new washers at both unions when it goes back on.

How to use

1. Turn off the boiler and isolate the pump valves.
2. Undo both unions and lift the pump out.
3. Remove the old washers from each side.
4. Fit the new pair, refit the pump and open the valves.
