About this product
Securplumb Compression Plastic Nuts 40mm
This Securplumb 40mm compression nut is a plastic nut for compression waste fittings. A cracked or lost nut is a common cause of a leaking waste, and a replacement compression fitting nut gets the joint sealing again. It suits 40mm waste compression fittings, so check the size before you order.
Features
- Compression plastic nuts
- 40mm size
- For waste fittings
- Made by Securplumb

Which one do I need?
Match the nut to the fitting. This one is 40mm and is meant for compression fittings on waste pipe, not for pressurised supply pipe.
Replacing the nut
- Put a bowl under the joint and undo the old nut.
- Check the seal and replace it if worn.
- Slide the new nut onto the pipe, then the seal.
- Tighten by hand and check for drips.
