The Draper 600mm box level has an aluminium box section body with three fixed vials: horizontal, vertical and 45 degrees. A side view vial lets you read it from the side, and accuracy is 0.5mm per 1m.

Why a side view level?
Reading from the side helps when the level is above eye height or against a wall. The 45 degree vial checks diagonals and stair angles too.
How to use
- Wipe the milled top and bottom.
- Set the Draper level down and check each vial.
- Use the side view vial when the top is hidden.
- Reverse to confirm.
