Do I need a kitchen upstand?
An upstand covers the gap where the worktop meets the wall, and gives a neat line along the back of the run. A 3m upstand can be cut to length.
How to fit a worktop upstand
- Measure the run and cut the upstand to length.
- Check the wall and worktop are clean and dry.
- Fix it with a suitable adhesive along the wall.
- Seal the bottom joint with a matching sealant.
