Is a 1/2 inch tap washer right for my basin?
Many smaller basin taps take 1/2 inch, but check the old washer first; a 3/4 inch tap needs the larger size.
How to use
- Turn off the water supply before taking the tap apart.
- Remove the shroud and unscrew the headgear.
- Fit a polythene washer in place of the old one.
- Rebuild the tap and turn the water on.
