Rawlplug Auger Wood Drill Bit - 20 x 400mm
The Rawlplug auger drill bit is 20 x 400mm, made for deep holes in timber. A self-homing threaded cone pulls the bit into the wood, the ground head edges drill quickly with little force, and a wide, deep spiral removes plenty of chippings. It is hardened alloy steel with a single groove coil for a smoother hole and a hexagonal end.

How to use
- Clamp or secure the timber.
- Fit the hex end firmly in the chuck.
- Let the threaded cone pull the bit in at a low speed.
- Withdraw now and then to clear chippings.
