Choosing din571 coach screws

DIN571 is the standard for hexagon head wood screws. A 40mm length suits jobs where a short, strong screw is needed.

How to use

  1. Drill a pilot hole smaller than the M6 thread.
  2. Fit a washer if needed.
  3. Start the screw by hand.
  4. Tighten with a spanner or socket.
