Which one do I need?
Frame screws need to pass through the frame and any gap behind it before reaching the masonry. Measure the frame depth plus the gap, and make sure the 182mm length leaves a good amount of screw in the wall. The correct pilot hole size is shown on the pack, so follow that rather than guessing. A pilot that is too large can reduce grip, while one that is too small makes the screw hard to drive.
How to use
- Check for cables or pipes in the wall before drilling.
- Drill the pilot size shown on the pack through the frame and into the masonry.
- Clear the dust from the hole so the screw can engage properly.
- Drive with a TX bit that fits the recess until the countersunk head sits flush with the frame.
- Avoid overtightening, which can distort the frame.
