Which one do I need?

The partial thread means the plain shank under the head lets the top board pull down tight onto the joist rather than being held apart, which is known as jacking. For the length, measure the board thickness and make sure the threaded part of the screw lands well inside the joist or rail underneath.

How to use

1. Lay the board in position, using spacers if you want an even gap.
