Which one do I need?

A 10 gauge screw at 60mm long gives a solid fixing for joining timbers of moderate thickness where the joint needs to carry some load. Measure the piece you are fixing through and check that a good part of the screw ends up in the material behind.

How to use

1. Clamp the parts so they do not move while you fix them.
2. Drill a pilot hole in hardwood, near edges or into end grain.
3. Use a pozi bit of the correct size, held in line with the screw.
4. Drive until the countersunk head is flush with the surface, then stop.
