Which one do I need?

A 13mm screw is very short, which makes it the right choice when the material is thin and a longer screw would come out of the back, for example when fixing a fitting onto a thin panel. For thicker work you will need a longer screw to get a proper grip. Check the depth of the material before you start so the point stays hidden.

How to use

1. Mark through the fitting holes onto the surface.
2. Start a small pilot hole with a bradawl or fine drill bit in hard material.
3. Use a small pozi bit that fits the recess properly.
4. Drive gently and stop as soon as the head is flush, as short screws strip easily.
5. Check the fitting is secure and replace any screw that spins without tightening.
