Specifications

Which one do I need?

Pick the 80mm length when you are fixing through a thick piece and need the screw to carry on well into the material behind it. If the combined thickness of your work is much less, a shorter screw will be easier to drive and less likely to break through the back face.

How to use

1. Check what is behind the surface before you drill, especially on walls.
2. Clamp the timber and drill a pilot hole along the line of the screw.
3. Fit a matching pozi bit; a worn bit will cam out on long screws.
4. Drive at a steady speed, easing off as the head reaches the surface.
5. Set the countersunk head flush and wipe away any swarf or dust.
