These Securfix 90mm wood screws measure 5.0 x 90mm and are supplied in a pack of 100. They are long multi-purpose screws with a cross/pozi drive and countersunk head, finished in zinc and yellow passivate with double corrosion resistance, for use indoors or out.

Which one do I need?

Go for a 90mm length when you are fixing through a thick timber section and need plenty of screw left to grip the piece behind. For thinner parts, a shorter screw is quicker to drive and less likely to break through the far side. Hold a screw against the work before you start to check the length.

How to use

1. Check for hidden services before drilling into walls or floors.
2. Clamp the pieces and drill a pilot hole along the full screw path.
3. Use a pozi bit in good condition; long screws need firm bit contact.
