Specifications

Which one do I need?

Thicker work needs a longer screw and thin sheet a shorter one, so compare the 40mm length with your material.

How to use

1. Work out the thickness of the parts you are joining and compare it with the 40mm length.
2. In hard timber, drill a pilot hole so the 40mm screw can start without splitting the work.
3. Fit a cross or pozi bit that fills the recess, then drive the 40mm screw in square.
4. Finish each 40mm screw flush with the surface and stop as soon as it is tight.
