Specifications

Which one do I need?

With a length of 15mm, this is one of the shortest sizes of screw you will commonly use, so it works where there is little depth to fix into. Hold a screw alongside the edge of the work to check it will not show through on the other side. If you need more grip and the material allows it, step up to a longer screw rather than overtightening a short one.

How to use

1. Mark the holes and make a small starter hole in hard material.
2. Choose a small pozi bit that sits fully in the recess.
3. Drive slowly; short screws need only a few turns.
4. Stop once the countersunk head is flush to avoid stripping the hole.
