Specifications

Which one do I need?

A 30mm screw in an 8 gauge is a middle length: long enough to join two thin boards, short enough not to poke through most cabinet panels. Before you start, hold a screw against the edge of your work to check it will not come out of the far side.

How to use

1. Mark the hole positions and check the screw length against the material.
2. Drill a pilot hole where the material is dense or near an edge.
3. Use a pozi bit that fits the recess snugly.
4. Drive the screw until the countersunk head lies flush.
5. Avoid overtightening, which can strip the thread in softer board.
