Specifications

Which one do I need?

Measure the lock already in your door. If it is a 3 lever sashlock of the same size, this Securit lock is a like-for-like swap; a different size or lever count means a different lock.

How to use

1. Remove the old lock and check it matches the 63mm size.
2. Slide the nickel plated sash lock into the pocket in the door edge and screw the forend in place.
3. Fit the handles and check the latch springs back cleanly.
4. Lock and unlock with one of the keys before closing the door.

FAQs

How many keys come with this Securit sashlock?

4 keys are supplied, so you can keep spares.

Is it a 3 lever or 5 lever lock?

It is a 3 lever lock.

Does a mortice sash lock need a pocket cut in the door?

Yes. It sits inside the door edge rather than on the surface, so most replacements reuse the existing pocket.
