Fitting a concealed door bolt
A mortice door bolt like this needs a mortice cut into the door edge, so use a drill and chisel carefully. Brass security bolts fitted inside the door leave a clean face with nothing to tamper with.
How to use
- Mark the bolt position on the door edge.
- Drill and chisel the mortice to the depth of the body.
- Fit the Yale security bolt and fix the faceplate.
- Mark and cut the frame for the keep.
