Which one do I need?
Choose solvent waste fittings when you want permanent joints. For a run you may need to take apart later, push fit is the other option.
Making a solvent weld joint
- Cut the pipe square and remove burrs.
- Dry-fit to check the length.
- Apply solvent cement to the pipe and the coupling socket.
- Push together, hold briefly and leave to cure before use.
