This JG Speedfit service valve 15mm is a plastic valve for isolating a hot or cold water supply, sold as a pack of 5. Fitting one before a tap, cistern or appliance gives you an isolating valve to turn off the water at that point for repairs. The speedfit 15mm service valve is rated for hot and cold water up to 65 degrees C. It is not suitable for central heating systems.

Which one do I need?
Use these on domestic hot and cold water pipework only. For heating circuits, choose a valve made for central heating.
Fitting a service valve
- Turn off the water and drain the pipe.
- Cut the 15mm pipe square where the valve will sit.
- Push the pipe fully into each end of the valve.
- Turn the water back on and check for leaks with the valve open.
