Rawlplug Cavity Wall Anchor and Tool Kit

The Rawlplug cavity wall anchor and tool kit puts an all-metal setting tool together with two sizes of Interset anchor in a carry case. You get 40 M4 x 38mm and 40 M5 x 37mm anchors for fixing to plasterboard, and the setting tool opens each anchor neatly behind the board.

Which Rawlplug anchors do I need, M4 or M5?

The kit covers both, so you can use the M4 cavity anchors for lighter fittings and step up to M5 where you want a thicker screw. Keeping both sizes in one case keeps the right anchor to hand.

How to use

1. Drill a hole in the plasterboard to suit the anchor size.
2. Push the anchor in until its flange sits on the board.
3. Use the setting tool to open the anchor behind the board.
4. Remove the screw, offer up the fixture and screw it back in.
