M5 thread check
These suit M5 bolts only. Check the thread size before buying.
How to use
- Pass an M5 bolt through the parts to be joined.
- Run the M5 nut on until its nylon collar meets the thread.
- Tighten the M5 nut with a spanner; resistance rises as the collar grips.
FAQs
How does an M5 nylon locking nut work?
Its nylon collar is smaller than the M5 thread, so it deforms as you tighten and the friction helps hold it.
How many M5 lock nuts are in a Securfix pack?
100.
