Fitting a 10 mm dowel
The M10 size means a 10 mm dowel diameter, a good match for a 10mm drill bit. At 40mm long, each 40mm wooden dowel can sit partly in each piece of the joint.
How to use
- Drill a 10mm hole in each part, keeping the drill square.
- Dry fit to check alignment before gluing.
- Glue the holes, insert the dowel and press the parts together.
- Clamp until the glue has set.
