Choosing an M10 dowel

A chunkier M10 dowel suits thicker timber where you want a robust joint. Check the hole size in your existing parts before replacing a broken pin.

How to use

  1. Mark both mating pieces so the holes line up.
  2. Drill holes to suit the M10 diameter.
  3. Glue the holes and push each dowel into the first piece.
  4. Join the second piece, clamp the joint and wipe off any excess glue.
