When to pick a 30mm wooden dowel at M8
Choose M8 x 30mm where the board is thick enough to take an 8mm hole on each side of the joint. Fifty pins give plenty for a larger project.
How to use
- Mark the centre of each dowel hole on both boards.
- Drill 8mm holes, using a depth stop if you have one.
- Glue and insert the dowels, then bring the boards together.
- Clamp and leave to dry.
