Which one do I need?
A compression tee fitting suits jobs where you may want to take the joint apart later. The swept branch helps water join the main flow.
Fitting the tee
- Cut a section from the main pipe.
- Fit a nut and seal onto each pipe end.
- Push the pipes into the tee and hand-tighten.
- Run water through both wastes and check.
