Securplumb Pedestal Trap - 32mm

This Securplumb 32mm pedestal trap is a single trap styled to sit within the narrow column of a basin pedestal. It holds a water seal between the basin waste and the drain to keep smells out of the room. It is part of the Securplumb range of 32mm waste fittings and is a straightforward swap when an old basin pedestal trap starts to leak or crack.

Specifications

Which one do I need?

A pedestal waste trap is chosen when the trap must hide inside the pedestal. Check that your basin waste is 32mm before buying, and measure the space inside the pedestal if it is very narrow.

Fitting a waste trap in a pedestal

1. Ease the pedestal away from the basin if you need room to work.
2. Unscrew the old trap over a small tray.
3. Fit the new trap to the basin waste and the outlet pipe.
4. Hand-tighten, refit the pedestal and run the tap.
