Which one do I need?
Choose a universal S trap where the waste pipe drops vertically. If your waste runs out through the wall, a P trap is the usual shape.
Fitting a waste trap
- Remove the old trap over a bowl.
- Offer up the new trap to the waste outlet.
- Connect the outlet to the downward pipe.
- Hand-tighten all nuts and test.
